Forest

Weaving. Silk, cotton. 8in x 8in (samples). 2018.

Inspired by Emily Carr’s Roots, this interior fabric collection draws from the colors and textures of the Vancouver Island forest. Comprising upholstery, drapery, and passementerie fringe in silk and cotton, the work translates natural forms into domestic textiles that bridge the serenity of the landscape with the intimacy of the home.
